Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August 2008. It will look as large as the full moon to the naked Eye.
This willhappen on 27th August 2008 when Mars comes within 34.65 Million milesto earth.
Be sure to watch the sky on Wednesday 27th August 2008 atISD 12:30 am (that is mid night). It will look like the earth has 2moons.
The Next time Mars may come close like this only on the year 2287.
