Earthquake in Nepal, Tremors
in parts of India
New Delhi/Kathmandu: An earthquake measuring
5.2 on the Richter Scale jolted Nepal on
Friday, 05th February 2016 night, as per the US Geological Survey
(USGS). Around 10 people are reportedly
injured Anamnagar area of Kathmandu .in parts of India
According
to initial reports, the epicentre of the quake was detected 16
kilometres from Kathmandu, in Nepal.
Due to
the earthquake in Nepal, strong tremors were felt in India - parts of Bihar
including Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Bettiah, Darbhanga, Raxaul, ANI reported.
Panic-stricken
people in Nepal ran out of their houses.
A
nationwide alert had been issued by Nepal government authorities. Last year in
April when the Himalayan country had faced a devastating destruction after the
country was hit by 7.8 magnitude earthquake in which more than 10,000 people
died across the country.
